Mike Fair has been in the automotive business the majority of his life. Born and raised in Oshawa, home of General Motors Canada, Mike has been associated with GM since he was 19 years old; first working in the engineering department for 12 years and then in the sales department for seven years before joining his first GM dealership in Oshawa in 1980. Seven years later, Mike moved his family to Smiths Falls after being presented with an opportunity to purchase the former Smiths Falls Chevrolet Oldsmobile Geo Cadillac dealership.

Mike has always had the philosophy that if you make a living from the people in your community, you should give back to that community. Since moving to Smiths Falls, Mike has stayed true to his word. As a former President of the Smiths Falls Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Smiths Falls Hospital Foundation’s Capital Campaign Committee, a member of the Rideau Canal Museum Board of Directors and a proud supporter of local minor hockey and figure skating, Mike is very proud to call Smiths Falls home.

A graduate of the University of Guelph and NADA Dealer Academy, Kristine has over 28 years of automotive experience having worked with GM, Chrysler and Toyota/Lexus dealerships in Southwestern Ontario. She joined the Mike Fair team in the fall of 2005, moving here with her children from London, Ontario. to take on the role of General Manager to facilitate a gentle ease into retirement for Mike Fair.

Although new to the Smiths Falls area, like her father Mike, Kristine is actively involved in the community; including the local Chamber of Commerce. Most of her free time is spent as taxi driver for her teenaged twins, a daughter and son, who are involved in numerous school teams as well hockey, land lacrosse, and competitive equestrian riding. In between all this, she fits in a game of golf and socializing with friends.

Her favourite GM vehicle is the 1963 split-window Corvette.

Darlene recently joined the team at Mike Fair and her wealth of accounting related experience has been a tremendous asset, in addition to her baking skills which has delighted co-workers.

Darlene was born and raised in Perth and lives there today with her husband, who together are enjoying the empty nest syndrome.

Her favourite GM vehicle is the Chevrolet Equinox.

A member of the GM Sales Marketing Guild since 1987, Wayne has been a part of the Mike Fair team since Day One and brings over 40 years of automotive experience to his customers.

In his downtime, Wayne enjoys travelling with his wife, Barb.

An avid car enthusiast, his favourite GM vehicle is the Corvette. He has owned 12 Corvettes over the years, including one from 1957.

Bruce has been with Mike Fair Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac since August 1990 and is currently a Silver Level Member of the GM Sales Marketing Guild. He brings to our team over 36 years of experience in the automotive industry.

When he’s not selling GM cars and trucks, Bruce likes to wind down with a relaxing game of golf or few hands of cards.

His favourite GM vehicle is the Avalanche.

Mike is currently a Bronze Level Member of GM Sales Marketing Guild, which he has been a member of for the past 13 years. He joined the Mike Fair team in December 1989, and has been selling new cars since 1974.

Away from the dealership, Mike enjoys golfing and curling, and has been a member of the Smiths Falls Curling Club since 1990.

His favourite GM vehicle is the Corvette.

Justin joined the Mike Fair team in early 2008. Justin has worked in the retail industry for eight years, adding automotive sales to his repertoire for the past two years. Originally from Vancouver Island, B.C., Justin has made Lanark County home for himself and young son for the past three years.

Justin enjoys being outdoors year round and is an avid fisher, hunter, and golfer.

Justin's favourite GM vehicle is the Cadillac CTS.

Tanya has joined Mike Fair's after selling automobiles on Vancouver Island for the past three years. Originally from Lanark, Tanya is happy to be back on home soil and looking after the vehicle needs of friends, family, and referrals.

Her passions include networking and being involved in community events, as well as spending time with family.

Her favourite GM vehicle is the Cadillac Escalade.

An experienced GM Professional, Randy has been providing quick and effective financing solutions for Mike Fair customers for over 15 years. He is a graduate of the GM Pro Certification Program and is a member of the Association of Financial and Insurance Professionals.

When he’s not finding ways for Mike Fair customers to afford a new vehicle, Randy enjoys travelling and fishing along the Rideau River and day trips with wife Heather.

His favourite GM vehicle is the SSR.

Terry Kean leads the Service Team and brings with him over 30 years of General Motors experience as both a licenced technician and management positions. For 29 years, Terry has been a member of GM's prestigious Technician Guild. This expertise certainly helps him pinpoint a customer's vehicle concerns quickly and efficiently

A Smiths Falls native, Terry has two grown children Amy and Curtis, and now enjoys his time relaxing on the lake with his wife Tammy and their bassett hound Nelson.

Terry's favourite GM vehicle is the Chevrolet Equinox.

Emily joined the Mike Fair Team in 2008 our service department and although new to the dealership, she is no stranger to the General Motors family having worked more then 6 years as a service advisor, as well as possessing a background in automotive mechanics.

A mother of two teenagers, as well as a wife to James, Emily still finds time to indulge in her passion of gardening in between weekend family trips. Emily grew up in Merrickville and currently resides in the Addison area.

Emily's firmly believes that customer satisfaction and earning their trust is of the utmost importance to ensuring a positive service experience.

Her favourite GM vehicle is anything from the Cadillac Family.

Sherri had worked with a GM dealer in Perth for over 9 years, prior to joining Mike Fair's as our latest addition to the service team in early 2010.

Sherri has been a resident of Perth for the past 14 years with her husband and two teenaged children. When not looking after her service customers, she is enjoying the great outdoors, be it hunting, fishing, or just catching a few rays of sun.

Sherri believes in developing strong relationships with Mike Fair customers to help them with all their vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

Trish has been with Mike Fair for over 15 years, working in our service department handling warranty claims and now helping with our busy collision repair centre and the documentation required by insurance companies.

Her passions outside of work are her two horses: Spencer and Dakota.

Trish's favourite GM vehicle is Chevy Silverado for towing.

The newest addition to the Mike Fair family, Don joined our team in April 2007 to manage the Collision Repair Centre. A Brockville native, Don brings with him over 35 years of insurance, automotive, and bodywork experience and is a licensed body technician. Don’s reputation for accurate repair estimates and repairs, as well as having vehicles ready by the promised time, has earned the respect and recommendation of many insurance companies.

Don is a NASCAR enthusiast, and he also enjoys camping and bowling.

His favourite GM vehicle is the 1966 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible.

A member of the Mike Fair team since the doors opened in 1987, Barry heads the Parts Department. He has been a member of the GM Sales Parts Manager Guild for over 14 years.

Barry is a long-time fisherman who takes any opportunity he can to relax at his favourite fishing hole (just don’t expect him to reveal where his top-secret spots are).

His favourite GM vehicle is the Chevrolet Silverado.

In the automotive business since 1984, Tim has been part of the Mike Fair team for over 17 years. He is a graduate of the GM Pro Certification program.

A Past-President and current member of the Perth Junior Chamber of Commerce, Tim also enjoys hunting, fishing, snooker, baseball, golf and spending time with his wife and children.

His favourite GM vehicle is the Chevrolet Silverado.
